What happens in the free cash health review?
You share a few headline numbers about your business, such as cash today, typical monthly receipts and costs, and anything worrying you. I send back a short written view of your cash position, the pressure points to watch and whether a bespoke forecast would genuinely help. There's no obligation and no sales pitch. Request yours.
How does an engagement start?
After the free review, if it's a good fit, we agree the level of support, the information I'll need and the fee. I then build your first bespoke forecast and walk you through it, before settling into the meeting rhythm for your level.
Is every forecast really bespoke?
Yes. Each forecast is built individually around your business: your cash cycle, how your customers and suppliers actually pay, your seasonality and your commitments. I don't drop your numbers into off-the-shelf forecasting software.
What do I need to provide?
To produce the most useful forecast, I normally ask for bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, invoices, payroll and tax/VAT information to be reasonably up to date. If things aren't quite there yet, that's okay. I'll work with what is available, explain any limitations and can help with additional financial data preparation separately.
Which level of service is right for me?
Visibility gives you a clear, reliable forward view of your cash. Control, my core service, adds deeper analysis and scenario modelling. Partner is for businesses that want ongoing financial planning and decision support. If you're not sure, get in touch and I'll talk it through.
How often is the forecast updated?
It depends on the level you choose. Visibility includes a monthly forecast report. Control adds a monthly review meeting to talk it through. Partner includes fortnightly meetings, with the forecast updated around the decisions you're facing.
How much does it cost?
Every forecast is bespoke, so I don't publish a price list. The fee depends on the level of support, the meeting rhythm, how complex your business is, how up to date your records are and how far ahead you want to plan.
